Business Analytics Commercial Support Manager

We are seeking a Business Analyst Specialist with a strong track record and who is also interested in taking on further commercial responsibilities.

This role will be reporting to the Commercial Operations & Trade Relations Associate Director. This role will be positioned at a management level.

Strong understanding of Market dynamics and trends for the launches of new products (Demand estimation studies, Market opportunity and market assessment for new TAs)

  • Build forecast, using CRM, Sales force; work closely with finance and GM for planning presentations to Senior Management
  • Develop/Monitor patient models to support an accurate forecast
  • Analyse the business with countries market data and raise topics to the BU as a result (IQVIA)
  • Build dashboard, in order to give a better understanding of the markets performances in line with global reporting needs.
  • Identify Market Research needs and provide solutions for better understanding of the market situation (monitoring the market, e.g: Patient records for HIV)
  • Monitor quarterly on-going market research
  • Support Market Access and P&R strategies
  • Follow-up of on-going Market Research projects and make recommendations to the Business Unit

Support in commercial and marketing activities: Support BUD's with development and implementation of product strategy and brand plan of action. Examples include various tactics, projects & events (e.g. Expert Forums, Int. Speaker events, Ad. Boards, market research)

  • RFA preparation and submission
  • Development of promo materials & putting them through approvals
  • Follow-up on the implementation of partners' yearly tactical plans, providing coaching to countries, escalating to senior management if required
  • Ad hoc support to 12 countries: e.g. requests for literature, promo materials, information sharing generated by SP brand colleagues
  • Management of annual congress slot allocations
  • Agency management (co-ordinating agency support for promotional, logistical and medical education agencies)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong experience of forecasting and analytics in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in specialty markets and in-depth knowledge of sales and marketing organizations and pharmaceutical data sources, e.g. IQVIA
  • Capable of building analytical models to evaluate business situations and provide recommendations.
  • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary market research in the pharmaceutical industry
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Excel & Powerpoint plus business intelligence systems and tools and their application in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to assume full responsibility for accuracy and reliability of complex analyses.
  • Ability to translate marketing strategy questions into actionable Market Research projects and be able to challenge and support commercial teams to formulate their needs.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to prioritize and utilize limited resources to manage multiple and/or conflicting requests from a variety of internal customers, manage peak workload periods and ad hoc requests. Outstanding organizational skills.
