Job Description

Excellent Finance Manager Opportunity based in Dublin City Centre, Reporting to the Financial Controller and leading a team of finance professionals

This role is a leadership position within the company's finance team with overall management of all accounting activities; primarily focused on reporting, forecasting, control, compliance and stakeholder management, in addition to leading a team of accountants. This role will be responsible for leading and supporting the overall work of the Accounting team, in addition to driving finance and business process improvements to support increased accuracy in Divisional financial reporting.


  • Lead and manage all month end reporting and forecasting activities
  • Management of a team of four accountants including performance management, development, retention, motivation, recruitment and onboarding.
  • Review, approve and file local GAAP financial reporting and other regulatory reports.
  • Preparation and coordination of monthly management pack for presentation to the Finance Director.
  • Responsible for supporting the Business Area, Divisions and operational teams in the accounting processes ensuring cost transparency
  • Lead discussions with Divisional stakeholders, supporting the needs of the business and providing input for better efficiency and automated ways of workings.
  • Actively engage with key stakeholders, promoting strong and positive working relationships.
  • Participate in Business Area finance initiatives, providing input to the Business Area throughout all phases of the development of new/changing Business Area financial policy.


  • Qualified Accountant - ACA or ACCA with 4 - 6 years relevant work experience managing an accounting team, preferably in a large global company.
  • Highly developed stakeholder management, influencing & negotiating skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with good planning and people management skills
  • Ability to remotely lead teams and drive change/results in a highly global environment
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
