Our client is a leading provider of the customer interface for regulated companies and as such it has a huge hiring requirement but one that goes through major peaks and troughs. Leading BPO service provider specialising in bespoke operational management and business solutions for clients across a broad range of sectors. 

The challenge

A strategic decision was made to outsource talent acquisition, enabling its HR team to focus on learning and development and supporting the general HR needs of the business. The company needs to attract talent for a range of customer advisory and support roles across all departments at offices in Cork and Dublin. In addition, it needs to recruit employees into non-advisory support roles (such as project managers).  The company is underpinned by advanced technology and therefore also needs to recruit professionals from a wide range of specialist disciplines such as applications development.

The solution

The solution is constantly moving with the times: for instance, M3S has recently introduced student recruitment campaigns that meet their needs. Contemporary advertising styles, using platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, have succeeded in attracting millennials, who account for a large proportion of their staff.

The benefits

M3S has also implemented a raft of process improvements such as new assessment centres for team leaders, which have raised efficiency and the perception of fairness. Account champions ensure a high level of service delivery to their hiring managers. The RPO solution is highly flexible, enabling them to scale the team up and down to cope with peaks and troughs of recruitment activity throughout the year. For example, M3S recently hired 678 candidates in an eight-week timeframe. Altogether, more than 10,000 hires have been concluded over the course of the partnership.
