About the role
As an Accounts Manager - Brokage, you will play a vital role in customer experience, accounts handling and business development
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company's footprint in the Chinese insurance market.
- Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with brokers, agents, and key stakeholders within the Chinese business community.
- Oversee and manage key broker and client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in China.
- Provide regular market feedback and detailed account reports to management to inform product development and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance sales, brokering, account management, or business development with a strong focus on the Chinese market.
- Deep understanding of the insurance industry in China and local business culture.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and spoken).
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within China and internationally as business needs dictate.
- Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
