Assistant Wholesale Manager - Fashion & Apparel
Job Summary:
As an Assistant Wholesale Manager, you will be responsible for managing our wholesale distribution channels across various regions. You will collaborate with retailers, negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure the successful placement of our products in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development: Identify and target potential wholesale partners in assigned territories, focusing on key markets.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective retailers to drive sales and brand loyalty.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed wholesale revenue targets.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities to effectively communicate value propositions to partners.
- Order Management: Oversee the order process from receipt to fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Trade Shows & Events: Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events to promote products and expand the network of potential clients.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaboration: Supervise one junior. Work closely with the marketing, design, and production teams to ensure alignment of wholesale strategies with overall brand objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in wholesale sales or business development, preferably in the fashion and apparel industry.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing wholesale accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend trade shows.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of international markets and cultural differences in business practices.
