About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Tender Management & Pricing Specialist to spearhead the procurement and pricing strategies for China export freight. This role involves managing end-to-end procurement across Air, Sea, and Cross-border logistics. You will manage the existing network and build powerful new relationships with Chinese agents, co-loaders, airlines, and shipping lines to secure market-leading rates and win major overseas RFQs.
Procurement & Route Management: Develop, optimize, and manage procurement strategies specifically for China export freight (including Air, Sea, and Cross-border solutions).
Vendor & Partner Relations: Build, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with Chinese agents, co-loaders, airlines, shipping lines, and inland transport partners to ensure capacity and competitive edge.
Tender & RFQ Management: Lead and support the analysis, preparation, and submission of complex overseas RFQs and global tenders, ensuring timely and highly competitive pricing.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, rate fluctuations, and capacity constraints on the China-to-UAE lane to proactively adjust pricing strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Overseas teams to design tailored logistics solutions that meet client needs and maximize profitability.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing, procurement, or tender management, with a strict focus on the China-to-UAE trade lane.
Network: An established and active network of Chinese agents, carriers, and co-loaders is highly desirable.
Modal Expertise: Proven experience handling pricing and procurement across Air, Sea, and Cross-border/Multimodal freight.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; ability to dissect massive RFQ data templates accurately under tight deadlines.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese is a massive advantage given the frequent collaboration with Chinese partners.
