Role Overview
As a Lead of PR & Corporate Communications, you will lead the development and execution of a world-class communications strategy that elevates the company's brand, strengthens stakeholder trust, and positions the company as a thought leader in the global energy transition. You will oversee all internal and external communications, media relations, crisis communications, executive communications, and sustainability storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated PR and corporate communications strategy aligned with business objectives and the company's mission in renewable energy.
- Serve as the company's primary spokesperson and manage relationships with top-tier international, national, and industry-specific media
- Lead proactive media outreach and thought-leadership campaigns on topics such as clean energy policy, technological innovation, project milestones.
- Craft and deliver consistent, compelling messaging for executives, investor presentations, conferences, and interviews.
- Own the creation of high-impact content: press releases, speeches, and digital/social media content.
- Lead internal communications to keep a global workforce informed, aligned, and engaged with the company's vision and achievements.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and reputational risks in the renewable energy sector.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in corporate communications or PR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Preferably in the energy sector (renewable energy, utilities, oil & gas, or strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated success securing coverage in global business, energy, and sustainability media.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities - capable of translating technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives.
- Strong executive presence and experience as a company spokesperson and advisor to C-suite leaders.
- Experience managing global, multi-lingual communications is a plus.
- Excellent command in written and spoken Chinese and English
