Cloud Engineer (AWS) - HKD 28k - Insurance (Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with functional and technical teams to design and implement cloud-based architectures that solve complex business problems.
• Define and refine the operational model for the group's AWS cloud platform to ensure enterprise-grade stability.
• Resolve challenging operational issues across a hybrid environment involving AWS, on-premises systems, and external applications.
• Lead the migration of large-scale enterprise workflows and orchestration solutions into AWS using cloud-native technologies.
• Build automation scripts and develop cloud applications using native AWS services to streamline daily operations.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including cloud asset inventories and disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in computer programming, analysis, and systems design.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud development and operations within an enterprise setting.
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS services, specifically Lambda, Eventbridge, Step Functions, CloudWatch, and Bedrock.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting; additional experience in Java, C#, or Node.js is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to independently manage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, with a passion for enabling analytics and learning new technologies.
