Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructures encompassing LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN, VXLAN, Cisco ACI, and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Engage closely with internal business and technical stakeholders to capture detailed requirements and convert them into practical, effective network designs and solutions.
- Perform in-depth network modeling, performance analysis, and capacity planning to ensure infrastructure meets current and future business demands for reliability, throughput, and growth.
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation (High-Level Design - HLD, Low-Level Design - LLD, topology diagrams, operational procedures); coordinate seamlessly with internal teams, third-party providers, and vendors for equipment procurement and project execution.
Skills Reqd
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline, paired with 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise-scale network design, implementation, and delivery-ideally gained within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex, large-scale network projects from concept through to production deployment in demanding enterprise environments.
- Deep, up-to-date knowledge of network technologies and emerging trends, with strong proficiency in hybrid/multi-cloud architectures, particularly AWS and Azure cloud networking.
- Comprehensive expertise across enterprise network domains, including LAN/MAN/WAN/SD-WAN, cloud network architecture (AWS & Azure), micro-segmentation firewalls, wireless LAN, VPN, IPS, WAF, server load balancing (SLB), network management platforms, performance monitoring, and network automation tools.
- Significant proficiency in Cisco ACI architecture and design, combined with substantial experience in managing network operations and services, underpinned by a solid understanding of the ITIL framework and best practices.
- Proficient in Cantonese & English.
