A reputable financial services company offers a diverse range of services. In line with its ongoing growth and adaptation to market demands, the company is seeking an Assistant Accountant specializing in accounts receivable / payable to support its Finance Operations Department.

About the role

As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a vital role in conducting data entry, accounts receivable / payable and assisting in month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations with a strong emphasis on accounts receivable / payable
• Address payment and receipt inquiries from diverse stakeholders
• Prepare and validate collection reports to ensure accuracy
• Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare journal entries
• Manage a high volume of data entry transactions efficiently
• Contribute to various ad-hoc projects to support departmental initiatives

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounts receivable / accounts payable
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functional formulas
• Strong ability to manage high volumes of data input efficiently
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Immediate availability or a short notice period preferred
