Network and Firewall Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Firewall Expertise & Design: Act as the recognized technical authority for Check Point and Fortinet platforms. You will make critical technology decisions, define configuration standards, and provide security consultancy to technology and business teams.
• Project Delivery & Automation: Lead the technical implementation of complex infrastructure projects. You will modernize operations by setting up and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and GitHub.
• Operations & Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendors across project deliveries. You will coordinate problem resolution, handle 2nd line support for major incidents, and participate in an off-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications & Skills

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study
• 3 years or above of working experience in network engineering and security
• Deep hands-on engineering experience with enterprise Check Point and Fortinet firewalls.
• Strong routing and switching background, including Subnetting, Routing, Switching, VLANs, VRFs, NAT, VXLAN, and EVPN.
• Proficiency in automation, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines (Ansible, Jenkins, Git, GitHub).

Soft Skills & Languages

• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and manage vendor deliverables.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills to lead major incident resolution and coordinate technical teams.
• Fluent English communication skills are required. Professional proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a distinct advantage for local data center collaboration.
