Role Purpose
Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for large-scale IT transformation projects, ensuring business scenarios are thoroughly tested, align with strategic objectives, and meet quality standards from an end-user perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between project teams, business users, and operations; gather UAT requirements, facilitate communication, and lead planning sessions, stand-ups, and defect triage.
- UAT Strategy & Planning: Define UAT approach, develop test plans, schedules, and resource allocations; ensure test cases reflect real-world business processes and operational workflows.
- Test Execution & Quality Assurance: Oversee design and execution of UAT test cases, monitor progress, ensure traceability to business requirements, and validate deliverables meet quality standards.
- Defect & Risk Management: Manage defect lifecycle, track resolution, escalate critical issues with mitigation plans, and contribute to process improvements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide status updates, final UAT reports, and maintain detailed documentation of activities and outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 12+ years of UAT or QA management experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder landscapes.
- In-depth knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, and tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
- Strong expertise in Life and Savings insurance domain.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Greenfield program implementations.
- Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
- Familiarity with test automation tools to enhance efficiency.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, PMP, Scrum Master (SMC), or Product Owner (SPOC).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
