System Analyst - Cobol, 12 months contract

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with users to gather and analyze business requirements, recommending suitable ready-made solutions.
• ngages with global and local credit card vendors (e.g., Mastercard, Visa) for project implementation, external assessments, and issue resolution.
• Designs, supervises development processes, and ensures adherence to departmental standards while verifying delivered results.
• Prepares comprehensive documentation of analysis and design, assists in planning and supervising application implementations, and provides mentorship to junior IT staff.

Skills Reqd.

• Proficient in the Mainframe platform, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM, with significant project experience in loans and credit operations.
• Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Experienced in the entire development lifecycle, encompassing system development, implementation, and ongoing support, with strong knowledge of the CardLink System.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, effectively mobilizing team and vendor resources to achieve project goals.
• Proficient in Chinese and English.
