A global company is searching for an Accountant with experience in the Logistics & Transportation sector to join their growing team in Mississauga. With ongoing mergers and acquisitions, you'll play a key role in shaping processes, consolidating logistics assets, and driving efficiencies across the business.
Core Responsibilities:
As Accountant, you will:
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards and company policies
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
- Perform regular account reconciliations
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist with tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide audit support and prepare required documentation
- Collaborate with Finance and Logistics teams on ERP system implementation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA designation is an asset)
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience within the Logistics or Transportation sector is essential
