The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a VAT Director to join the London office. You'll play a key leadership role in delivering VAT advisory services, particularly within real estate and financial services, working with both UK and international clients.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver VAT advisory projects for a diverse client portfolio.

Oversee and review the work of junior team members, providing coaching and technical guidance.

Act as the main point of contact with HMRC, managing correspondence and enquiries.

Manage budgets and project scopes, ensuring high-quality client delivery.

Provide strategic advice on complex VAT issues, escalating risks and opportunities where appropriate.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and support wider business development initiatives.

Contribute to the growth and development of the VAT team.
About You

ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent).

Proven track record in UK VAT with significant hands-on experience.

Knowledge of VAT issues in financial services and/or real estate is highly desirable.

Strong commercial mindset with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Experience reviewing compliance and delivering strategic advisory work.

Collaborative leadership style with a focus on coaching and developing others.
