What you'll be doing:
- Growing your broker panel and turning conversations into new business
- Spotting opportunities and upselling beyond the immediate case
- Qualifying inbound and outbound leads and driving them through the sales funnel
- Building strong, commercially focused broker relationships
- Supporting Key Account Managers with high-quality opportunities
- Owning your pipeline, hitting KPIs, and reporting performance clearly
- Staying ahead of the market by keeping tabs on competitors and trends
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in telephone-based business development (mortgages or financial services ideal)
- A track record of smashing sales targets and growing broker relationships
- Confident, influential, and results-driven - you know how to close over the phone
- Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
- CRM savvy, with the ability to use data to drive performance
- Knowledge of mortgage products and the regulatory landscape is a bonus
