Technical Transformation Project Manager

Are you an experienced Technical Transformation Project Manager with strong PMO leadership capabilities? We are seeking a high-calibre project leader to join a major, multi-year Global Transformation Programme spanning a market-leading global data and technology business.
You will lead the delivery of complex technical workstreams while providing strategic support, guidance and leadership to the PMO office across the wider programme. You will act as an essential bridge between strategic governance and hands-on delivery, ensuring projects meet strict quality, time and budget parameters while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end delivery of large, complex technical workstreams to agreed time, cost, quality and scope criteria.
- Define, source and manage multi-disciplinary project teams and resources.
- Develop detailed plans and budgets, optimising resource utilisation and proactively managing variances.
- Robustly control risks, issues, dependencies and scope changes across multiple interconnected workstreams.
- Conduct regular performance and outcome reviews internally and with executive stakeholders.
- Formalise and embed project/workstream assurance disciplines (audits, plan reviews, risk assessments).
- Foster a customer-first culture focused on high performance and continuous improvement.
- Matrix-manage assigned team members, driving stretched objectives and high-performance behaviours.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven track record managing large-scale technical projects/programmes, collaborating with SMEs, engineers and architecture teams.
- Hands-on exposure or delivery experience surrounding Active Directory or core infrastructure identity transformations.
- Demonstrable experience setting up assurance frameworks, quality gates and project lifecycle standards.
- Adept at managing large workstream budgets, tracking spend and financial forecasting.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and build trusted relationships up to C-suite level.
- PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or PMP qualification highly desirable.
