This role primary focus will be driving business origination and relationship management, while supporting the operational delivery of custody services. This full time, permanent role combines client facing leadership with strategic business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with custody clients, sub-custodians, and market infrastructure partners to drive business growth.
- Lead business origination efforts by identifying opportunities to expand Assets under Custody.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to tailor custody solutions that meet evolving client needs.
- Act as the key liaison for client inquiries, providing expert advice and ensuring high levels of service satisfaction.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure timely, accurate trade capture, settlement, corporate actions, and client reporting, supporting client retention and trust.
- Manage compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks to protect client assets and the organization's reputation.
- Support ongoing development and refinement of custody products and services based on client feedback and market trends.
- Provide leadership and development for the custody services team, fostering a client-centric culture.
- Represent the organization as a custody product specialist in client meetings and industry forums.
- Deputise for the Head of Department as needed.
Key Requirements
- Proven success in relationship management or origination roles within financial services, ideally with experience in custody services or asset servicing.
- Strong network and ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including Board and Executive levels.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and convert business opportunities into revenue growth.
- Solid understanding of custody operations and relevant regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex custody solutions clearly and persuasively.
