Role: Finance Systems Lead
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + 10-15% bonus
Location: Covent Garden, London - 2x per month in the office

About the Business
Finance teams rely on systems to get numbers out accurately and quickly. This Finance Systems Lead role is about taking ownership of the finance technology stack and the processes behind it, from OneStream workflows through to monthly close, budgeting and board reporting.
Partnering with a global, PE-backed enterprise software business, you will bridge the gap between financial reporting and system administration. Beyond maintaining day-to-day data integrity across core systems, you will actively shape modern reporting improvements, including driver-based budgeting models and evaluating practical AI applications for variance analysis.
What You Will Do
- System Administration & Support: Own day-to-day administration, workflow maintenance and user support across core platforms, principally OneStream and NetSuite.
- Close & Process Optimisation: Partner with the finance team to streamline and accelerate the end-to-end monthly close, consolidation and reporting cycles.
- Data Flow & Integrations: Maintain accounts, mapping and data transformation routines to ensure clean, consistent financial data across ledgers, CPM and BI reporting tools.
- Forward-Looking Initiatives: Help design driver-based budgeting models and assess practical AI capabilities to enhance management reporting and variance commentary.
- Continuous Improvement: Question established routines, identify bottlenecks and build scalable system improvements to keep pace with business growth.
- Change Framework: Establish a formal finance systems change management, governance and audit-compliant testing structure.
What You Will Need
- Practical experience administering and supporting core enterprise finance systems or CPM platforms.
- Solid understanding of core financial accounting processes, including consolidation, multi-currency flows and monthly close cycles.
- Strong data intuition - comfortable managing data transformations, mapping and ledger workflows.
- A collaborative mindset - keen to support end-users while constructively challenging legacy processes to make them better.

- Natural curiosity about modern finance tools and early adoption of AI in reporting.
- Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent foundation in group accounting principles (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or qualified by experience).
