My client, a global accounting and advisory firm, are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager/Director on a permanent basis, paying between £70k - £130k, your salary will be based on your level of experience, highlighted benefits listed below. The role will be working on a hybrid model of four days a week at the Finsbury Square, London office and one day working from home.

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-value tax advisory services, with a particular focus on corporate reconstructions, reorganisations and structuring projects. You will play a key role in leading client engagements, managing project delivery and ensuring that complex tax issues are handled with technical precision and commercial awareness. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and grow the companies tax advisory offering, while also mentoring and developing junior team members. You will build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on strategic tax matters, supporting clients through periods of change and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver tax advisory projects, with a focus on corporate reconstructions, reorganisations and group structuring.
- Manage multiple client projects, ensuring delivery is profitable and within agreed budgets.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities for additional advisory services.
- Monitor utilisation and project profitability on a weekly basis.
- Communicate regularly with Directors and Client Managers regarding project status, challenges, and opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic tax insights tailored to their business goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, especially business owners and financial decision-makers.
- Deliver services to the highest professional standard, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Provide proactive advice on potential tax risks and opportunities, particularly in relation to restructurings.
- Support the development of client portfolios, helping to strengthen the firms reputation for technical excellence.
Experience:
- Significant experience in corporate tax advisory, with a focus on reconstructions, reorganisations and structuring.
- Proven ability to manage complex client projects from scoping to delivery.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and HMRC requirements.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior staff
- Professional qualification CTA essential. Ideally studied taxation of Owner-Managed Businesses.
