Are you someone who loves creating content, spotting opportunities and finding new ways to bring stories to life? Do you have a natural curiosity, a creative mindset and the confidence to turn complex ideas into compelling content that captures people's attention?
We're looking for a talented Creative Content Manager to join a forward-thinking, internationally focused organisation operating within a fascinating and evolving global industry.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes real pride in their work and wants to play an important role in shaping how an organisation communicates with its audiences.
You'll be joining a team with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and interesting perspectives to share. Your role will be to bring that expertise to life through engaging, relevant and inspiring content across a variety of digital platforms.
The opportunity
This is much more than a content production role. We're looking for someone who can think creatively, spot a good story and take the initiative to make things happen.
You'll work closely with colleagues across marketing and the wider business to develop content that informs, inspires and engages. From turning research and specialist insights into accessible articles, to developing creative campaigns, social content and multimedia assets, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on how the organisation connects with its audiences.
We want someone who is naturally curious, full of ideas and excited by the opportunity to experiment with different approaches, formats and channels.
What you'll be doing
- Developing, writing and editing engaging content across websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising and other communication channels.
- Working with subject matter experts and colleagues to uncover interesting insights, ideas and perspectives, transforming specialist information into accessible and compelling content.
- Creating and coordinating a variety of content, including video, photography, graphics, infographics, audio and other multimedia formats.
- Proactively identifying content opportunities, suggesting fresh ideas and looking for ways to make existing content more engaging, relevant and impactful.
- Managing content schedules, editorial calendars and projects to ensure ideas move from initial concept through to delivery and publication.
- Keeping up with digital trends, emerging platforms and creative formats, bringing new thinking to the team and helping test different ways of reaching audiences.
- Taking responsibility for content libraries and digital assets, ensuring materials are organised, accessible and used effectively.
- Working with internal stakeholders, external agencies, freelancers and creative suppliers to deliver high-quality content.
- Monitoring content performance, reviewing engagement and using insights to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of future activity.
The person we're looking for
Above all, we're looking for someone who genuinely loves content and has the drive and enthusiasm to make things happen.
You'll be creative, proactive and naturally curious. Someone who doesn't always wait to be told what to do, but actively looks for opportunities, brings suggestions to the table and takes ownership of delivering great work.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience creating, writing, editing and publishing content across a range of digital channels.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to make complex or technical subjects interesting, clear and easy to understand.
- A creative eye and the ability to develop engaging content that stands out and connects with different audiences.
- Experience working with different content formats, including video, photography, graphics and social media.
- The confidence to generate ideas, challenge the status quo and suggest new ways of doing things.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Experience planning content, managing editorial calendars and coordinating creative projects.
- An understanding of digital engagement and how to use performance insights to make content more effective.
- The ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate with people across different teams and disciplines.
Most importantly, you'll bring energy, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in what the organisation does. You'll want to understand the business, its expertise and its audiences, and you'll be motivated to communicate its story in the best possible way.
