In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and delivery of the company's Finance Transformation strategy. Working across Finance, Technology, and the wider business, you will drive digital finance capabilities, implement innovative tooling, and embed new ways of working.
Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the finance transformation agenda ensuring alignment with business goals and unlocking efficiency's through process optimisation, technology adoption, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities for the Finance Transformation Lead:
- Responsible for the delivery and implementation of the Finance Transformation strategy
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to align finance strategy with overall company objectives
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and evolution of reporting tools, improving data quality, governance, and efficiency across the team
- Responsible for the evolution of multiple core finance systems, ensuring functionality and adoption
- Line management responsibility for a team, supporting growth and career development
- Proactively explore and assess emerging finance technologies to maintain a future-ready function
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven track record in finance transformation, process improvement, and system implementation
- Strong experience in partnering with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on experience implementing reporting tools and managing finance systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with line management or team leadership responsibility
- Forward-thinking mindset with an interest in emerging finance technologies, automation
- Practical problem-solver with a delivery-focused approach
