Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working in partnership with a respected and established organisation based in Bristol. We are currently seeking a Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their dynamic and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Accounts Payable professional or someone actively studying towards their AAT qualification and looking to gain hands-on experience in a busy finance environment.
Processing invoices accurately and efficiently to the correct ledgers
Liaising with contractors, internal departments, and regional managers to resolve invoice queries and ensure timely payments
Ensuring compliance with financial procedures and internal controls
Supporting the finance and administration teams with day-to-day queries
Handling contractor statements and following up on missing documentation
Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Ensuring all communications are dealt with in a timely, professional manner
Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role
Or actively studying AAT and eager to build your finance career
Strong communication skills with a confident and professional approach
High attention to detail and solid organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
A team player with a proactive and can-do attitude
