Group Financial Controller

Morgan McKinley are currently partnered with a well known International organisation who are looking to hire a Group Finance Controller who will lead on all aspects of financial accounting and statutory reporting and finance policy globally. They will support the CFO and GFD in the leadership and management of financial activities, with responsibility for corporate statutory financial reporting across 40 subsidiaries, financial accounting including month end close and financial compliance.
The post holder will be a forward looking and strategic thinking finance professional with experience of operating in a complex global environment and in delivering large scale change., This is a pivotal role that will be accountable for the effective operation of many aspects of finance across the global organisation. Including:
* Statutory accounting and reporting and UK Group accounting
* Month end close and accuracy of actuals in management information
* Management consolidation and balance sheet reporting
* Finance matters relating to subsidiaries and other entities
* Financial Policy and compliance
* Short term Cash Flow Forecasting and working capital management including intercompany arrangements
The role will work closely with the Director Finance Transformation and Continuous Improvement, in managing performance of the Managed Service Provider and all SAP based finance and business processes. The role will have dotted line accountability for these.
The role holder will need to be comfortable with a highly visible senior role, during a period of significant organisational change, including within Finance.
They will have a broad base of finance experience and have previously led multi-location finance teams in an international setting. The post holder must also display an understanding of the organisations aims and the ability to connect with operational colleagues.
