Finance Manager - FinTech - French Speaker

A Finance Manager is required for an International FinTech business based in the City of London. The role is paying up to £55,000, with the candidate expected to look after the UK and Singapore business.

Note: There is potential to increase the base to £60,000, only for those candidates who are in a similar role and are already on a salary of £55,000 or above. The company do reward generously in order to retain staff members over the long term.

Responsibilities overview to include:

  • Financial & Management Accounting
  • Budgeting
  • VAT returns and liasing with external auditors
  • Coordinating with seniors in other company entities
  • Liaising with the finance team in Singapore
  • Management of one finance assistant in the UK
  • Serve as the HR function for the UK entity staff including coordinating recruitment processes, ensuring HR records are up to date including policies and procedures
  • Provide an Administrative management function for the UK entity icnlduing purchasing of supplies, assisting/managing the organisations corporate events and liaising with external advisors when required.

The main aspect of the role will be financial, however the candidate would also have the responsibility for the HR/Admin. Experience in the HR and Admin role is not essential, however a willingness to undertake such responsibilities will be key. The role would suit candidate looking for ownership within an SME environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Candidates must be qualified accountants (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Candidates must be able to commence employment within 4 weeks, or immediately (Preferred)
  • Candidates must be able to speak the French language fluently in order to coordinate with the Paris office.
  • Be willing to travel to Europe for business wide conferences around business reporting (1-2 a year)
  • Confident communicator, with a genuine interest in an SME environment
  • There is a lot of trust and autonomy within the role, as such, would suit candidates who are self motivated
