My Advice

Work in partnership with the people directly sourcing talent for you Don’t just furnish them with a job spec, head off on your holidays and expect results when you return. You need to provide the colour to the job spec and give them the inside track on your team dynamics. Think about what differentiates your team from that of another team in a similar company. Tell them your leadership style, how you will support and develop a new joiner and what is your vision for this hire in a year from now. Often your recruitment partner is the first introduction a candidate has with your business and job opening so make sure they have all the information so the candidate chooses to meet you instead of your competitors.

My Background

Niamh has managed and delivered several large recruitment projects for multinational organisations establishing or migrating business functions to Ireland and understands the importance of delivering talent aligned to company values and culture. Prior to Talent Solutions, Niamh worked in leaderships roles at MorganMcKinley, and also recruitd across permanent, contract and interim markets for more than 10 years, recruiting from Graduate level to Senior executive within Accountancy and Finance for industry, professional services, and financial services markets.
