Position: Trade Finance Operations Analyst
Location: Central Singapore (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension and conversion
About the Role
As a Trade Finance Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of trade finance transactions. You will work closely with internal teams and offshore partners to support the bank's trade finance services. Your tasks will include handling transaction processing, document management, customer service, and compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process trade finance transactions accurately and timely to support daily operations.
- Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure transactions meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Manage and upload documents related to trade transactions.
- Assist walk-in customers professionally and courteously.
- Collaborate with teams such as Product Management, Trade Service, and Sales to process new deals and initiatives.
- Follow internal policies, regulatory requirements, and guidelines.
- Identify and escalate operational or compliance risks promptly.
- Obtain necessary approvals for transactions according to procedures.
- Support ongoing process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
Who We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in banking or financial services, with knowledge of trade finance products such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Collections.
- Understanding of trade finance processes and flow is important; technical document checking skills are not essential.
- Reliable, committed, and eager to contribute long-term to the team.
- Flexible to work occasional overtime or outside regular hours during busy periods.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
