Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to appoint a Regional Retail Design & Visual Experience Manager based in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded design professional to shape the retail experience across Southeast Asia. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of retail environments, pop-up stores, customer events, temporary installations and new boutique openings across Southeast Asia.
- Translate global retail concepts into locally relevant experiences while maintaining a consistent luxury brand identity.
- Partner closely with Retail, Commercial, Marketing and regional stakeholders to deliver engaging in-store experiences that support business growth.
- Produce design concepts, technical drawings and project specifications, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
- Manage external design, production and fabrication partners, overseeing quality, timelines and cost control from concept through installation.
- Stay ahead of global retail, visual merchandising and experiential design trends, bringing fresh ideas that enhance customer engagement and elevate the brand experience.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Interior Design, Spatial Design, Architecture or a related creative discipline.
- 5-6 years of experience in retail design, store development, visual merchandising or experiential design, ideally within luxury retail, beauty, cosmetics or premium consumer brands.
- Proven experience managing retail fit-outs, store openings, pop-up activations and visual merchandising projects across multiple markets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp is essential.
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Business proficiency in English and Chinese to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.
