Our client, a global technology firm is now looking for an inventory analyst/coordinator to support them on a 1 year rolling contract

Group: Global Network Operations
The end result of our team's work is the delivery of our customer's products and services to users around the world. We support the build and operation of our customer's production network, which connects the server farms in data centers to each other and to the Internet.

Role: Spares Analyst / Coordinator, Project Resolve (Network Operations Supply Chain Self-Sparing)
NetOps Spares Analyst run the data flows and transactions required to manage warranty and entitlement of the networking equipment by vendors and is responsible RTF management, scope assessment and for vendor service performance. This is a self-sparing solution for the Network Operations RMA Team (RMA=Reverse Material Authorization) in lieu of OEM vendor support. The project acts as inventory sourcing support for the NetOps RMA Team, supplying replacement equipment for failures in the production network. The project's key objective is to ensure inventory for in-scope equipment is available at the right place at the right time for rapid redeployment.

The position would be responsible for supporting inventory rebalancing activity, managing and tracking inventory movements and stock levels. Daily activity will include data gathering and entry across our customer's tools, systems, and spreadsheets as well as creating and executing inventory orders. You will also need to coordinate activity with multiple teams, generate operational metrics, and provide operational support for the RMA team when needed. Supporting tasks may include scheduling repair windows, following up with couriers, or coordinating deliveries with site vendors.

Key Responsibilities
● Gather key data points across multiple internal and external systems ● Data entry in transactional tools as operational milestones are achieved
● Execute inventory optimization calculations using custom tools
● Develop and maintain monthly operational metrics
● Serve as operational support for RMA coordinators and additional Reverse Logistics roles
● Interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
● Execute the transaction cycle for service vendors within the supply chain
● Manage material movement in a reverse supply chain (return-to-factory) for disposition, repair, and replacement.
● Extract and distribute on-network equipment inventory report
● Analyse inventory levels and rebalance accordingly using order management tools
● Resolve issues of missing and incorrect data (e.g., network presence, installation ship-to address)
● Obtain supplier quotations
● Validate content of the quotations, including vendor pricing against transactional records
● Reconcile inventory and pricing differences, and resolve errors or ambiguity
● Generate purchase approval documentation
● Generate purchase requisition
● Confirm entitlement
● Update project tracking documentation.
● Gather key data points across multiple internal and external systems ● Data entry in transactional tools as operational milestones are achieved
● Manage projects and execute work to improve the accessibility, usability, velocity, and impact of our data
● Develop validation models and programs (e.g., network service pricing models)
● Establish and operate data pipelines (e.g., shipping information distribution)
● Create and maintain dashboards
● Expand the scope of on-network inventory data utilized in transactions ● Generate and publish metrics measuring the cost and delivery performance of the supply chain
● Supplier performance measures (e.g., yield time, yield, and quality measures)
● Normalized spend-to-network size measures
● Drive resolution of a portfolio of Supplier Corrective Action Requests
● Perform ad hoc analyses to develop business insight and extract and/or analyse data to support and improve operations.

● Proficient in data visualization techniques such as dashboarding and charting
