My Advice

Keep an open mind and be open in speaking and networking with people in the market who can be from the similar industry or specialization as yours to understand things from their perspectives and take what’s good from their input. Perhaps, it can help you in deciding your next move or career path. Not forgetting your recruiter, they are the best person to speak to understand the market trends and, I always believe we recruiters can play an important role in shaping someone’s career if given the right opportunity. And not forgetting to also do your homework in learning about the company and the position you are interviewing for, research a little on the hiring manager’s profile over Linked In as well. And yes, not forgetting to ask lots of questions during the interview with the hiring manager.

My Background

Having prior experience in customer service industry as a student, I learnt that quality is the key to customer satisfaction and with the attained skills from the customer centric industry my approach has been towards client and candidate satisfaction where I understand client and candidates’ needs and present them the right solutions to them. Apart from that, being the market expert of the industry, I’m always open to offer information on the market trends to both clients and candidates. Also, a firm believer that being a recruitment consultant one should always utilise their consultative approach to make positive changes and be open to changes as well as creating a positive impact out there.
