Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of high-performance and scalable iOS applications within a large-scale E-commerce ecosystem.
- Design and implement modern user interfaces using SwiftUI to enhance mobile customer experiences.
- Maintain and optimize mobile CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and automated deployments.
- Develop and execute automated testing strategies, including unit tests, UI tests, and smoke tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Tokyo to deliver new features and product updates within an agile development environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 6+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift.
- At least 1 year of experience building production applications with SwiftUI.
- Hands-on experience managing mobile CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitrise, Jenkins, or Fastlane.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks for iOS, including Unit, UI, and Smoke testing.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating within multicultural and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving ability and commitment to maintaining high code quality and scalable architecture.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced agile environments.
Language Requirements:
- English: Business level
- Japanese: Conversational level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience building large-scale E-commerce or consumer-facing mobile platforms.
- Knowledge of modern architecture patterns such as MVVM or VIPER.
- Experience with reactive programming.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and complex backend integrations.
- Experience optimizing mobile performance and memory management.
