Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable server-side APIs that support digital payment and transaction processing platforms.
- Build and maintain high-performance batch processing systems to manage large-scale automated backend operations.
- Perform software testing and quality assurance activities to ensure system reliability, performance, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align system architecture with business requirements and technical standards.
- Participate in code reviews, system enhancements, and ongoing platform modernization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend application issues while supporting system stability and performance.
- Contribute to backend architecture decisions and technical design discussions.
- Support operational excellence through continuous improvement and development best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java backend development.
- Proven experience designing and developing server-side APIs and batch processing applications.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Experience building scalable and high-availability backend systems.
- Knowledge of application architecture, database integration, and enterprise software development practices.
- Experience working within Agile or collaborative software development environments.
