An exciting opportunity is available for an IT Risk Management Consultant to join the Technology Division of one of Japan's most well-known global internet service companies.
As part of the IT Risk Management team, you will lead the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of IT risk governance frameworks across the organization. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in IT-BCP, ITGC, IT resilience, and enterprise IT governance who want to strengthen their consulting career in a large-scale global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor IT risk response projects from end to end.
- Build and enhance IT risk management frameworks and improve operational processes.
- Manage project teams and provide guidance and leadership to team members.
- Develop IT risk policies and standards and ensure compliance across the organization.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to improve the efficiency and completeness of enterprise-wide IT risk governance.
- Promote IT risk awareness and deliver internal training and education programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Hands-on experience in IT Risk Management, including IT-BCP and ITGC.
- Experience leading the implementation of enterprise systems such as SAP or ServiceNow.
- Strong cross-functional understanding of IT, from infrastructure to applications, with the ability to communicate technically.
- Proven experience leading stakeholder alignment between users, development teams, and external vendors.
Soft Skills:
- Strong consulting mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse and global teams.
- Strong ownership and accountability for project outcomes.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent / Native level
- English: Fluent (TOEIC 800+ preferred)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in server or cloud development and operations.
- Experience developing and implementing IT risk management frameworks.
- Experience leading IT risk management projects.
- Certifications such as CISA, CIA, or Systems Auditor (Japan) certification.
