Risk Associate - Leading Global Private Bank

Responsibilities:

• Conduct vulnerable client assessments and verify total net worth across the client lifecycle
• Execute daily risk monitoring, account activity reviews and first line risk procedures in line with firm and regulatory policies
• Partner with front office, compliance and internal departments to resolve risk issues and communicate controls effectively
• Analyse risk indicators, leverage tools like Python and Copilot to streamline reporting and support continuous process improvements
• Prepare risk reports, drive issue resolution to closure and contribute to team training on regulatory and control best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management or related field
• Demonstrated experience in asset/ liability verification and vulnerable client assessments following ethical and regulatory standards
• Familiarity with private banking products including structured products, funds, alternative investments with basic knowledge of SFC, HKMA and MAS regulatory expectations
• Open to senior KYC candidates in private banking
• Proficiency in Excel, Python and Microsoft Copilot
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong risk and control mindset, strong attention to details and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
