Power Platform Developer
Contract | Melbourne | 6 Months
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Power Platform Developer to join a highly collaborative delivery team on a 6-month contract engagement based in Melbourne. This role suits someone self-sufficient who can pick up a defined scope of work and run with it, while also contributing ideas within the team and engaging confidently with stakeholders.
You'll be working across the full Power Platform stack, integrated with Azure services, to build and support business-critical applications and automations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and building solutions in Dataverse, including entity modelling, security roles, and business rules
- Developing Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps, including custom JavaScript within Model-Driven Apps
- Building Power Automate flows, including API integrations
- Developing and deploying custom PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) components
- Creating Power BI reports and dashboards
- Integrating with Azure Functions and Azure Key Vault for secure, scalable solutions
- Managing solution deployment and environment promotion through Azure DevOps
- Working closely with a small delivery team and engaging directly with stakeholders on requirements and progress
What We're Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience across Dataverse, Canvas Apps, and Model-Driven Apps
- Comfortable writing JavaScript within Model-Driven Apps
- Experience building Power Automate flows with API connections
- Practical experience building custom PCF components (not just configuring pre-built ones)
- Working knowledge of Power BI report/dashboard development
- Exposure to Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, and Azure DevOps
- Strong communication skills and comfort with direct stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently against a defined task while contributing well in a small team environment
- Based in Melbourne, or able to work on-site as required
