Join a top-tier global corporate and investment bank as a VP FIG Relationship Manager, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with Japanese banks and broker dealers. This role sits at the intersection of corporate banking, capital markets, and transaction banking, offering broad exposure across lending, markets, and credit engagement within a global platform. You will play a key role in origination, execution, and relationship development across Financial Institutions Group (FIG) clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with Japanese banks and broker dealers.
- Support origination and execution across lending, transaction banking, and markets products.
- Participate in client discussions and contribute to account planning and relationship strategies.
- Drive cross-selling initiatives in coordination with product, coverage, and regional teams.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and internal documentation.
- Lead credit analysis, approval processes, and related credit documentation.
- Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure smooth client delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in FIG coverage, corporate banking, or capital markets.
- Strong understanding of banking and broker dealer business models.
- Solid experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and transaction execution.
- Ability to work across lending, transaction banking, and markets products.
- Experience operating within a global banking environment.

Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
