Roles/Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to deliver seamless experiences.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate design concepts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance design quality.
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role for over 5 years.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects and processes.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Fluent proficiency in Japanese, both written and verbal.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of usability principles and user-centered design methodologies.
- While our client is no longer a proper startup, startup working experience will be helpful.
- Understanding of finance or related industry.
