Senior Manager - Facilities & Multi-Site Operations Japan

As Senior Manager Facilities & Site Operations, you will lead key projects, ensure compliance with GMP standards, and drive excellence in service delivery. This is a high-impact role where you will oversee complex operations, manage budgets, and enhance operational efficiency in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Tokyo Depot project, ensuring successful execution under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements.

• Oversee Depot Site Operations, maintaining strict GMP compliance.

• Measure and improve the performance of site services and contracts to achieve operational excellence.

• Supervise service providers, mitigating potential risks by maintaining a monthly risk register and escalating issues to the Head of FM Operations when necessary.

• Maintain and manage the Facilities & Operations budgets for Japan, ensuring effective cost control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• Proven experience managing facilities across multiple sites.

• Strong track record in managing capital projects while ensuring EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance.

• Hands-on experience in GMP environments.

Certifications:

• Safety Certification and EHS Certification.

Team Management:

• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams effectively.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Native-level proficiency.

• English: Intermediate to Business-level proficiency.

Soft Skills:

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Creative and innovative mindset with a strong grasp of facilities-related technologies.

• Ability to deliver excellence in facilities operations, projects, and real estate management.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement scalable operational processes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of introducing innovative solutions in facilities management.
