Join a rapidly growing Fintech company as an HR Specialist focused on Talent Acquisition and Onboarding. In this role, you will lead the company's recruitment engine and design a seamless onboarding experience that strengthens employer branding and employee engagement. Working closely with department leaders and global HR teams, you will play a key role in attracting top talent and ensuring successful integration of new hires into the organization. This position offers strong visibility and a clear pathway toward future HR leadership roles within a global organization spanning 46 countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department heads to define hiring requirements and create high-quality job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
- Develop and execute multi-channel recruitment initiatives, including direct sourcing, agency partnerships, and employee referral programs.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview coordination and interviewer training for hiring managers.
- Track and improve recruitment KPIs such as Time to Fill, Offer Acceptance Rate, and sourcing channel effectiveness.
- Oversee the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate data and efficient hiring workflows.
- Design and continuously enhance the onboarding experience to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Partner with managers to develop structured 30/60/90-day onboarding and integration plans.
- Lead pre-boarding logistics and Day 1 preparation in collaboration with IT, Finance, and General Affairs teams.
- Develop onboarding materials including orientation programs, welcome kits, and internal documentation.
- Improve HR workflows and recruitment processes to increase operational efficiency.
- Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports for KPI tracking, internal audits, and ESG initiatives.
- Support updates to internal HR policies in compliance with Japanese labor laws.
- Drive employer branding initiatives across career pages, social media, and industry events.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by optimizing every stage of the recruitment journey.
- Support performance management cycles and employee engagement initiatives.
- Participate in regional or global HR projects to align local HR practices with global standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 7+ years of professional HR experience, including at least 3 years specializing in end-to-end recruitment.
- Hands-on experience designing and managing employee onboarding programs.
- Strong understanding of Japanese labor law and HR compliance requirements.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify process improvements.
- Logical thinking and the ability to translate business needs into hiring strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills when working with cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving recruitment goals and KPIs.
