Key Responsibilities
- Assess the financial strength and creditworthiness of banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs).
- Prepare investment recommendations and credit risk assessments for internal committees and senior decision-makers.
- Produce high-quality industry and sector research reports within established deadlines.
- Analyze financial statements, regulatory filings, and market developments to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Present strategic insights and advise senior executives on complex credit, financial, and market-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit risk analysis, investment research, corporate research, or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of banking, financial institutions, capital markets, and financial regulations.
- Advanced ability to analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and regulatory disclosures.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification or progress toward certification is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong commercial judgment.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong report writing and research capabilities.
