Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance corporate reputation
- Build and maintain relationships with media, monitor coverage, and provide strategic insights
- Create and update communication content across internal and external channels
- Support crisis communication planning and stakeholder engagement
- Execute internal communication activities such as events, town halls, and employee engagement programs
- Coordinate sustainability, ESG, and awareness initiatives with cross-functional teams
- Facilitate effective communication flow across departments to drive alignment and engagement
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field
- 3-5+ years of public relations experience, ideally in healthcare or life sciences
- Proven ability to plan and execute communication and public relations strategies
Soft Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple initiatives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, agencies, vendors, and media partners
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Conversational to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in external communications, media relations, or corporate PR in regulated industries
- Familiarity with corporate branding, executive communications, and crisis response
