PR Manager - Travel Tech | Tokyo, Japan

Join a fast-growing global travel tech company as a PR Manager and take full ownership of public relations and communications for the Japan market. This is a hands-on, standalone role with high visibility and autonomy, offering the opportunity to shape and grow the company's local brand presence. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute PR and communications strategies for the Japan market from concept to delivery
• Write and distribute press releases and manage relationships with media outlets and journalists
• Organise PR events, interviews, and campaigns to strengthen brand awareness and exposure
• Monitor media coverage, analyse performance, and report results to internal stakeholders
• Manage and update owned media channels, including the corporate website

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in PR or communications within consumer-facing or digital industries
• Strong experience handling press and media, with a proven network or track record
• Experience creating public-facing materials and managing projects independently
• Proven ability to operate in a small, fast-moving organisation

Soft Skills:

• Hands-on, proactive, and self-motivated approach
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently with high ownership and accountability
• Adaptable mindset suited to a dynamic, changing environment

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Native
• English: Basic (for internal communication)

• Familiarity with website content management systems
• Experience planning and coordinating events
