Middle Office Operations

A smaller global financial services institution with strong presence in Japan.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily fixed income trades with custodians and counterparties.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with front office, risk, compliance, and offshore teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Use trade systems and Excel for efficient trade lifecycle management.
• Enhance operational efficiency by working with offshore teams and handling inquiries.

Required skills

• Fluent proficiency in both Japanese and English.
• 5~7 years of experience in securities operations areas within middle & back office.

Preferred skills

• Fixed Income background in roles such as Trade & Sales Support, Client Operations etc.
• Experience working in global securities firms.

Personal Attributes

• Efficient communications skills.
• Strong Excel and related system skills.
