Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical engineering team, managing schedules, risks, and team resources
- Design and evaluate PCBs and electrical components for next-gen analytical devices
- Oversee the full design lifecycle from requirement definition to performance testing
- Collaborate with mechanical/software teams and external vendors to achieve milestones
- Manage compliance for EMC and product safety certifications (e.g., IEC 61010)
- Review system designs for performance, safety, and standard adherence
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level electrical issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Strong background in circuit design, embedded systems, and product development
- Proven experience in system-level electrical design and delivery of commercial devices
- Practical knowledge of mass production and certification processes (EMC, product safety)
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and cross-functional communication skills
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business conversational or higher
