Roles/Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance reliability and scalability.
- Design and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
Required skills
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Ideally 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
- Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred skills
- Experience establishing a DevOps culture from the ground up.
- Previous experience working in a small startup environment.
- Conversational proficiency in Japanese.
