Cyber Security Engineer

Roles/Responsibilities

• Develop & Implement Security Strategies: Create and enforce security measures, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor & Analyze Threats: Continuously monitor security systems, analyze threats, and respond to incidents.
• Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses.
• Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, mitigation, and documentation.

Required skills

• Must reside in Japan with a valid working permit
• 3-5+ years in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in security tools and technologies.
• Proficient with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and encryption. Cloud security experience is a plus.
• Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
