A travel tech company is seeking a Contract Manager to negotiate and manage hotel contracts, enhance supplier network and ensure competitive rates and availability for clients.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Lead the contracting process with hotels, focusing on securing competitive rates and favorable terms.
- Negotiate contract renewals, including rates, inventory, offers, and cancellation policies.
- Monitor hotel performance and collaborate with internal teams to ensure competitiveness and availability.
- Act as the primary point of contact for hotel suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Resolve major supplier or client issues, ensuring a positive relationship and service quality.
Required skills
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, handling contracts with hotels.
- Knowledge of the travel and hospitality industries, including revenue management and distribution.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- University degree, preferably in tourism or related field.
- Native level Japanese and business level English proficiency.
