Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance monitoring of policies, internal controls, and regulatory risk in alignment with Japanese regulations.
- Assist in internal inspections and investigations, documenting findings and tracking follow-up actions.
- Provide advisory support to business units on compliance matters, reviewing new products and initiatives for regulatory alignment.
- Participate in communication with regulators to identify emerging risks and contribute to firm-wide compliance initiatives.
- Support training activities related to compliance updates, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Knowledge or experience with financial products and services.
- Interest in compliance, governance, and risk management.
Soft Skills:
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and take initiative.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent.
- English: Intermediate to Business level.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in compliance, risk, legal, or audit is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Understanding of Japanese regulatory frameworks.
