You will lead the design and management of compensation and benefits programs, oversee executive compensation, ensure compliance with regulations, and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Legal. Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Japan's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with global policies, regulations, and market benchmarks.
- Support executive compensation planning, including data analysis, benchmarking, and preparation of Compensation Committee materials.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure smooth C&B operations and alignment with local labor standards.
- Oversee global compensation cycles, budgeting, and performance evaluation processes to enhance efficiency and strategic alignment.
- Lead and develop a high-performing C&B team, fostering collaboration and continuous professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and governance standards while managing risk effectively.
- Communicate and deliver clear training and internal messaging on compensation frameworks and benefits programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits and at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing compensation strategy in multinational or complex organizations.
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail in managing multiple projects.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent (required for employee and stakeholder communication).
- English: Business-level proficiency (written and spoken).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of global HR strategy, compensation benchmarking, and compliance best practices.
