A leading financial services company is seeking a Full-Stack Application Developer (English-only, Contract) to join its Tokyo-based engineering team. This position is ideal for engineers currently in Japan with a valid visa who are passionate about building scalable, maintainable applications using modern tech stacks in a global, Agile-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web-based financial systems on AWS/Azure platforms

Build responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular)

Design robust, scalable APIs and services following Agile best practices

Collaborate with product managers and global development teams

Ensure code quality and participate in peer reviews and deployments
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:

4+ years of hands-on web development using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular)

Experience building core financial systems with Core Java
-
Proficiency with OOJS, vanilla JS, and relational databases (MS SQL, Aurora Postgres, Azure SQL)

Previous work using AWS (required) and Azure (preferred)
